PORTRAITS PHOTOSHOOT IN VENICE DURING CARNIVAL AT SCALA CONTARINI DEL BOVOLO
Elsa and Angel are a close-knit couple from Miami Florida, whom I met for the first time almost 2 years ago, on the occasion of their 15-year wedding anniversary and vow renewal that they organized in Venice. Always in love with all of Italy but with Venice in particular, Elsa and Angel have returned to this fantastic city this year exclusively to experience the particular atmosphere that reigns during the Carnival! They traveled with their clothes, very eager and excited to experience Venice with this completely different atmosphere. And so they asked me again months ago, to be their photographer again in Venice and I was delighted also because in the meantime Elsa and Angel have also become my dear friends The photo shoot started at the Hotel where Elsa stayed and Angel, the Rialto Hotel, a hotel right on the Rialto Bridge, which has a fantastic position to admire the famous bridge even in the evening. We walked to reach Piazza San Marco, the central point of Venice where thousands of people dressed in masks always gather. Here I took their portraits and then we took the gondola already booked by Elsa to the Stazio Danieli. During the gondola ride Angel had planned to surprise Elsa with the gift of a ring and in fact the surprise for Elsa was enormous, and her expression was spectacular! After the gondola ride, the couple absolutely wanted to visit Palazzo Contarini and the beautiful Scala Del Bovolo (Scala Contarini Del Bovolo). It is the most beautiful and famous spiral staircase in Venice, 26 meters of example of Venetian Gothic architecture. A real gem, located near Campo Manin. This is a building that you absolutely cannot miss if you go to Venice, truly a gem. Once you have walked all the way up the Scala, you get to the top and from there you can admire an incredible view of Venice and the bell tower of San Marco! Really deserves! We then concluded the portrait service at the Rialto Hotel, in order to have a shot in front of the wonderful bridge too! thank you Elsa and Angel for the beautiful new adventure and thank you also for your invitation to Miami!
