Katie and Alan have arrived from UK to crown their dream of love in Venice. In fact, getting married in Venice is very romantic, this wonderful city has a charm all of its own, the small streets, the gentle waterways, the sunsets that envelop it in a magical light. Katie’s preparation took place in the beautiful and historic The Gritti Palace Hotel in Venice, a hotel that directly overlooks the Grand Canal and has a direct view of the Church of Santa Maria Della Salute. The Gritti Palace also has a fantastic location as it is also very close to Piazza San Marco. After the make-up and dressing at the Hotel Gritti Palace helped by her bridesmaid and her mother, she reached by taxi accompanied by her father, her future husband Alan, to the Church of Santa Maria della Fava. Here waiting for her, there were not only her closest family and friends, but also the wedding procession made up of a page boy and several bridesmaids, who then preceded Katie as she entered the church. After the beautiful and emotional ceremony, the spouses wanted to have their portraits taken around Venice, and therefore by taxi we reached the Island of San Giorgio and other beautiful places in Venice. A romantic gondola ride could not be missing, in fact Katie and Alan were very keen to pass under the Rialto bridge and then reach the Venetian palace of their reception by gondola: Palazzo Zeno – Cà Zen. Palazzo Zeno, in the San Polo area, is one of the most beautiful and spectacular Venetian Palaces, together with Palazzo Cà Sagredo, Palazzo Cà Zenobio, Palazzo Dandolo, Palazzo Papadopoli, Palazzo Pisani Moretta, Palazzo Contarini Polignac. Katie and Alan have chosen Palazzo Zeno- Cà Zen for their evening reception. There were many emotional moments here, especially during the speeches that the bride and groom exchanged at the table. The wonderful wedding reception at Palazzo Zeno continued until late, with the beautiful and spectacular cutting of the bride and groom’s cake and then the wild dances. A wonderful wish to this beautiful couple for a new and amazing life together!
