Chic Winter Wedding Villa Valier Brenta Riviera | Eva and Alberto

Eva and Alberto’s wedding was held on February 9, on an unusual and warm day of this “hot” winter. I love winter weddings very much, they are enveloped in a particular light, the colors are colder and softer than spring and summer weddings. When I met Eva for the first time in my studio she told me she was looking for a photographer of reportage because he wanted to spend his day in the greatest possible freedom… without any interference from the photographer during the day… The couple got married  in the afternoon in the beautiful and historic Church of San Nicolò in the center of Padua. After the ceremony and the many emotions shared with their loved ones, Eva and Alberto wanted to spend time with some dear friends at the Bar Nazionale, a famous bar in Piazza delle Erbe, before leaving for Villa Valier in Mira (Venice). Unmissable here the spritz appointment and first married toasts! – thank you Eva for sharing with me too!!   Along the way from the church to the bar we hurriedly took a few portrait shots. The bride and groom then left to reach the reception location, Villa Valier in Mira-Venice, a historic and elegant villa along the Brenta Riviera. Villa Valier Bembo Corò (this is the full name), is one of the historic villas that enrich the road between Padua and Venice, together with Villa Foscarini Rossi, Villa Widmann, Villa Foscari La Malcontenta, Villa Barchessa Valmarana and others… Waiting for the newlyweds, all the friends and the elegant reception staged by the Catering Maggiordomus. I still haven’t said that the theme chosen by the spouses for their wedding was feathers!
All the beautiful details created to add atmosphere to the wedding were full of feathers! from the bride’s dress, to her hat, the floral decorations in the church and in the Villa, the cake, the Tableau de Mariage. The feathers created a very chic and elegant atmosphere, and you can see in the numerous detail photos I took how well thought out everything was ! From the ostrich feathers used to decorate the Wedding Cake, to the pheasant feathers for the table centre, guinea fowl feathers were used on the invitations, chicken feathers mixed with rice for leaving the church, up to feathers of goose used to decorate the jars of homemade jam for wedding favors. After all, it could not be otherwise since Eva deals with her partner and dear friend Adele in communication and events in Milan. Among other things, they have also created a very nice Lifestyle Magazine which I invite you to visit: Ubique Chic. Here you will find many useful tips and articles on many things like Travel, Food and Events, Culture, and Fashion. In this magazine Eva and Adele, bloggers of the third millennium as they define themselves, talk about everything that is elegant but also contemporary. Words and images conjugated in a very clever and original way! Visit it! Returning to the wedding day of Eva and Alberto, after the buffet, the spouses continued the evening with dinner in the various internal halls of the villa due to the winter season. After the cutting of the cake, the bride and groom entertained themselves with friends continuing the party with wild dancing until late at night. As always, I have to congratulate the great professionalism of the Catering Maggiordomus, which under the supervision of Letizia was impeccable in everything! Well done everyone as always!   A big hug dear Eva and Alberto and best wishes for your new life!   HERE you can read the entire article published on the Ubique Chic blog, wedding section, and of course we also talk about me since I was the photographer of the day! Thank you very much Eva for the wonderful words used to describe my work and beyond!

I extract from the published article Eva’s words about my reportage photo shoot:
” The photo shoot, remember, will be what will remain of your wedding day.
Valeria Berti, who put her signature on all the images in this article, is not just a photographer because she is a photo reporter first and foremost a great woman!
Being a wedding photo reporter means having a free approach to photography, attentive not only to details but also to the unexpected, to those moments that cannot be planned and make the occasion unique.
Sensitivity, availability, fresh gaze, ability to stop the unexpected and to work with the unexpected: Valeria danced with us to the same rhythm as the feathers that moved according to the will of the wind, with harmony and predisposition to the beauty of the instant. ”
