When I was contacted by these 3 wonderful families, who asked me for reportage-style portraits in Venice, I was very happy, because I generally have smaller families numerically speaking, so portraying 8 people at the same time was a small challenge! and this is also the beauty of my work, always different, with always different people, stories, situations and places, and all this is very stimulating for me! I made these portraits in the month of April, an unusually cold April day, but with a beautiful sun and light… The occasion for these family portraits was the 85th birthday of the grandfather! I am very happy to have met these wonderful families, very sweet people, always with a smile, friendly and..in short…all special people! We also went San Giorgio Island to eat an ice cream and have a coffee, thus avoiding the crowded places of the still wonderful but chaotic Venice. Here you can see some of the photos I took!
